Mark has a desire to use the experience, gifts, and talents given him by God to support and equip believers in their faith journey. 

His involvement with the church and with ministry began more than 35 years ago, serving in leadership at various churches and on various non-profit boards over the years in addition to serving on the President’s Council at DTS for 9 yrs and teaching with Bible Study Fellowship. Mark founded Next Step Bible Study to encourage participants to seek a deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Professionally, Mark founded CPF Texas, a private financial consulting firm in Dallas in 1985. He was named as one of the Top 100 Independent Advisors in America by Registered Representative Magazine and one of the Top 1,000 Financial Planners in America by Barron’s Magazine. Mark retired from CPF Texas in 2018.  

Mark now enjoys spending his time in various ministry and business endeavors. He has been married to Marty for 53 yrs, and they have three married daughters and six grandchildren. He and his wife, Marty, own Dröm Sött” (Swedish for Sweet Dreams”) which is a charming 18-room boutique hotel in Lindsborg, Kansas. They currently reside in Frisco and Lindsborg, KS.
