This year’s W.H. Griffith Thomas Lectureship Speaker is Dr. Jason DeRouchie. He serves as a Research Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In the second part of the Lectureship he shares from Zephaniah 2:1-4 and 3: 8-10 the faithful remnant should patiently pursue Yahweh to avoid punishment and to enjoy satisfying salvation.

Dr. Jason DeRouchie received his PhD in Old Testament from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he presently serves as Research Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and as content developer and global trainer with the mission organization Hands to the Plow Ministries. He celebrates how the whole Bible progresses, integrates, and climaxes in Christ, and he is committed to training church leaders both at home and abroad to cherish Christ and his Word. He and his wife Teresa have six children, two sons-in-law, and one grandchild.
