The Church and Community Work – Cultural Engagement Chapel

Andy has been on staff at Grace Bible Church since 1993 and current serves Senior Pastor. Formerly, he was the first executive director of the Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary. While working for the Seminary, he started attending Grace Bible Church. He has two grown daughters who are married and five grandchildren. Andy has many interests including studying leadership and history, enjoying jazz music and cheering the Longhorns. Andy believes followers of Christ should take themselves less seriously, while taking the Lord much more seriously.

Chris L. Simmons has served the Cornerstone Baptist Church South Dallas/Fair Park, Dallas, TX since  May, 1988.  A 1989 ThM graduate of Dallas Seminary, he was called to serve as pastor in September, 1989.  Cornerstone provides a number of free programs to the residents in the community including:  after school programs, summer day camps, medical clinic, dental clinic, community garden, transitional housing programs, meals for those in need, clothing closet, and the Christmas store to name a few.  He passionately believes that our life mission is to leave the world a better place than we found it.
