About the Contributors
Dr. Don Hawkins
Don Hawkins is the host and executive producer of the “Encouragement Live” weekly call-in radio show. He also serves as President of Encouragement Communications and General Manager of The Worship Channel internet radio station (www.theworshipchannel.org).
For 13 years Dr. Hawkins served as President of Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama. Don has authored or co-authored over 25 books, including Never Give Up, Master Discipleship
Today, How to Beat Burnout, Leadership Under Fire, and Friends in Deed. His recently released publications include Hope for Seniors and Sarita’s Story. Don graduated from Southeastern in 1967, received the Th.M. in ’74 and earned his D. Min. from Calvary Theological Seminary in ’98.
Dr. Hawkins also served as co-host of Back to the Bible radio and as host and Executive Producer of the Minirth Meier Clinic radio broadcast, Don and his wife Kathy (MABS ’91) have three grown children, twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
