Dr. Coover-Cox Appointed as Editor of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS)
DTS Professor of Old Testament Studies, Dr. Dorian Coover-Cox, has been selected as the new editor of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS). She follows Dr. Andreas Köstenberger, who has served as the JETS editor for 22 years. The full ETS announcement can be found here.
Dr. Coover-Cox has been a part of DTS since the 1980’s when she first arrived as a student. Over the years, Coover-Cox earned multiple degrees at DTS (MABS, 1984; ThM, 1988; PhD, 2001) and has served as a professor of Hebrew and associate editor for Bibliotheca Sacra (BibSac). Most recently she has been the acting director of the PhD program as well. In addition to her duties at DTS, Dr. Coover-Cox has been an active member in the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) and has served on numerous committees within the organization.
