Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Cliff Robinson serves as Chief Operating Officer for Chick-fil-A, Inc. In this role, Cliff will oversee the operations of an exceptional Restaurant experience, the company’s continued expansion through restaurant development along with ensuring talent remains a competitive advantage throughout the organization. He leads People, Restaurant Development and Field Operations and is a member of the company’s Executive Committee.

Cliff began his career as a team member under the leadership of his father who served as an Operator for 37 years. Joining the company in 1990, he began his corporate career at Chick-fil-A, first as a marketing consultant and later as a business consultant for franchise Operators. He held several leadership positions in both operations and marketing, including senior vice president of operations. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief people officer responsible for providing direction and leadership to the people and planning functions within Chick-fil-A.

With the help of a Chick-fil-A team member scholarship, Cliff earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Oglethorpe University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University. He has also completed executive programs at Emory University and Harvard Business School as well as is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology and Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary.
