Michael Smith
Dr. Michael J. Smith received a B.S. degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Following marriage to his wife, Joy, an MK from Africa, they went on to serve as a missionaries in Cameroon, West Africa for two years. In the years following, he earned his Th.M. degree in New Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary. After serving on a pastoral staff of a church in Michigan for 15 years, he returned to DTS for a Ph.D. in Bible Exposition. He has been a professor of Biblical Studies at Liberty University for the past 16 years. He is married to his wife, Joy. They have two children.
