President of Moody Bible Institute 

Dr. Mark Jobe is the 10th president of Moody Bible Institute. The son of missionaries, he moved from Spain to Chicago at 17 years of age, where he received a Diploma of Communications from Moody Bible Institute in 1984. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Columbia International University, a Master of Arts in Ministry from Moody Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership for the Global City from Bakke Graduate University.  

With a heart for outreach in the city, Mark has been pastor of New Life Community Church since 1986, and has witnessed the church grow from a handful of people to over 7,000 across 27 locations both in Chicago and eight international cities. He is also the Founder of New Life Centers, an organization to help youth in underserved neighborhoods of Chicago, Author of Unstuck: Out of Your Cave and Into Your Call, and host on Bold Steps, a weekday program. 

Mark has been married to Dee for 32 years and they have three adult children: Marissa, Josiah and Grant.
