Finishing the Course

Roger Raymer, adjunct professor of Pastoral Ministries, encourages us to finish the course God has set out for us to accomplish. He reads from Hebrews 11:7 and reminds us how faith in God will help us fulfill our ministry calling.

Roger M. Raymer
Dr. Roger Raymer received his bachelors from UCLA in 1969, followed by his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1979. He has served as faculty at DTS since 1985 and was the Alumni Director from 1985 until 1991. He has served for 18 years as Senior Pastor of Lake Ridge Bible Church, transitioning in mid-2017 to an Associate Pastor role, and still works as an adjunct professor for Doctor of Ministry Studies here at DTS. He also serves in Pastoral Care ministry with Camino Global. He and his wife Judy have three grown children: Stephen (married to Lindsey), Kathryn (married to Joe), and Mark (married to Michael Ann). They have been blessed with five granchildren: Anna Claire, Ella Rose, Sophie, Jachin, and Chaplin.
