Dr. Michael Anthony, research professor of Educational Studies at Talbot School of Theology, discusses the compassion of God’s heart when seen through the interactions of his people.

For 27 years, Dr. Anthony held a faculty appointment at Talbot School of Theology teaching courses in Leadership, Organizational Development, and Non-Profit Management. During those years he also served a variety of administrative appointments including Department Chair, Associate Provost, and Vice Provost. He now serves as a Research Professor of Educational Studies. He is also an adjunct professor at Denver Seminary, Capital Seminary and teaches for us here at Dallas Seminary each year as well. Dr. Anthony has an earned PhD from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Educational Administration and another PhD from Claremont Graduate University in Developmental Psychology. In addition to serving on staff at 5 local churches, he also served for 11 years as the Senior Chaplain for the Irvine Police Department. He currently serves as the Chief Operating and Finance Officer at the Dream Centers in Colorado Springs. He has authored/edited 13 books including works such as the Evangelical Dictionary of Christian Education and Management Essentials for Christian Ministries. He has been married for 30 years to his wife Michelle and they have two adult children.
