Rev. Robert Crummie, pastor of Mt. Calvary MBC and president of Carver College, both in the Atlanta metro area of GA, teaches from Paul's letter to Timothy, written from Paul's deathbed, encouraging him to be faithful in specific ways in light of the coming judge, Jesus Christ.

Robert Crummie

Rev. Robert Crummie serves as the President of Carver College, along with being the Pastor of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in College Park, GA. He graduated with a B.S. in Economics/Business Administration from Benedict College and with a Th.M. in 1996 from Dallas Theological Seminary. Rev. Crummie also holds an honorary doctorate and is in the final stage of completing an earned Doctorate of Ministry degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in May 2020. He has served on our Board of Incorporate Members since 2011. After serving as a Grants Management Specialist at the National Institutes of Health, he did a four-year stint as a missionary with CRU’s ministry to professionals in DC’s White House district and the Petworth community. Rev. Crummie accepted the invitation to serve as the Vice President of Carver College in September 1996 and the Carver Board of Trustees elected him as the fifth president in May 2000. Rev. Crummie was ordained to the gospel ministry by Dr. Tony Evans at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, and in 1998 was elected as pastor of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, in College Park, GA. Rev. Crummie is married to the lovely Carla Michelle Crummie, an educator and life coach. They have one son, Robert Wayne, II, and one daughter, Meagan Michelle. Rev. Crummie’s life vision is simply to go to heaven and take as many people with him as possible! In his spare time, he enjoys playing a game or two of basketball.
