Adam Greenway

Dr. Adam W. Greenway currently serves as the ninth president of The Southwestern Baptist Theological seminary. Elected in February 2019, he is the first Southwestern alumnus to serve in this role for more than a quarter century, having earned his Master of Divinity in 2002. He is also a graduate of Samford University (Bachelor of Arts), Notre Dame University (Master of Nonprofit Administration), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Doctor of Philosophy). A passionate evangelist, skilled apologist, serious scholar, and proven administrator, Dr. Greenway, notably, is one of the most experienced leaders in the Southern Baptist Convention, having served in multiple positions at both the state and national levels at young ages.

Adam and his wife, Carla – also a Southwestern graduate – are parents to two children, Wade and Caroline. Carla specializes in the areas of children and family ministries.
