Dr. Stephen Bramer earned his MDiv from Ontario Theological Seminary, his ThM from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and his PhD from Dallas Theological Seminary. After teaching in Canada for sixteen years, Dr. Bramer has taught for the last twenty-two years at Dallas Seminary as Professor of Bible Exposition. Since 2009, he serves as the Chair of this Department. He also currently serves as a Teaching Pastor at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship in Wylie, TX. and as a board member for Insight for Living Ministries. He leads tours yearly to Israel and teaches most years at the Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary to young Christian Arabs headed into ministry as well as teaching each year at Word of Life Bible School in Hungary. Stephen is known for his practical, humorous, and expositional Bible teaching. His commentary on Genesis is available in both English and Korean, and his book “The Bible Reader’s Joke Book” is available through Amazon. Stephen and Sharon have been married for forty-three years and are the proud parents of two married daughters Sarah and Charity, a married son Joshua, and proud grandparents of nine.
