Pastor Voltaire Cacal, assistant dean of Student for Men and director of International Students, emphasizes how the love of the community of Christ's disciples needs to be so blatant and bold that others are transformed to radically forsake all else and follow him.
About the Contributors
Voltaire is a Filipino-American reared in the San Francisco Bay Area with his parents who immigrated to the United States. Voltaire left a lucrative career in telecom to serve as an English Pastor for a Chinese church and a Missions Pastor for a Filipino church. Voltaire has since served for multiple international organizations and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Ethnic America Network and Chairman of the Board for Be One Together.
Voltaire has a passion for discipleship and a heart for intercultural, multiethnic, and cross-generational growth among the Church. He is blessed to be married to Cristina from Manila, Philippines, and they have three daughters, Charis, Keanna, and Kaitlynn. He enjoys traveling, cooking (and eating), photography, SCUBA diving, building things around the house, and working on cars with his daughters.
