Dr. Roderick Willis is a dynamic leader at the intersection of artificial intelligence, institutional research, and theological education. As Director of the Institutional Review Board and Associate Director of Institutional Research & Analytics in the Division of Operations & Effectiveness at Dallas Theological Seminary, he pioneers Generative AI integration for data governance, research compliance, and predictive analytics.
A graduate of the Harvard Business Analytics Program and Digital Data Design Institute of AI, Dr. Willis holds multiple certifications in Generative AI with applications across finance, marketing, Research & Development, and strategy. His prior roles at mega church ministries, universities, and independent school districts has allowed him to apply his skills in AI-driven transformation, regulatory alignment, and strategic decision-making.
A theological scholar with a ThM from DTS and a PhD in Higher Education from the University of North Texas, Dr. Willis equips future leaders through doctoral instruction in AI and machine learning, embodying a unique blend of faith, data science, quantitative, qualitative research and digital innovation. Dr. Willis also loves soccer, Hibachi, and Rice Crispy treats.
