Sam Hitchcock
Sam grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies. He met his wife, Ellen, at Oklahoma State, and they married in July of 2018. Upon graduation from DTS, he will serve as the Director of Spiritual Formation at Oklahoma Christian School, the school that he attended from kindergarten to 12th grade, and his wife, Ellen, will teach 4th grade at the school as well.
What Sam enjoys most about preaching is seeing how truths from God’s Word apply to everyday life and bringing out these truths to help others live more like Christ. This is the most rewarding aspect of preaching. He has loved his time as a student at DTS and will always be grateful for the valuable insights he learned from his professors, not only about the Bible, but in their perspective on all areas of life.
