Only Servants Become Great

Mr. David Hodges, senior pastor at Grace Community Bible Church, explains how desiring greatness is a great goal, but in God’s kingdom, it’s only obtained through sincerely serving others.

Upon graduating with a ThM in New Testament Studies from DTS in 1991, David and his wife moved to Huntsville, TX to pastor Huntsville Bible Church. After five years there, he merged his congregation with another and became the Executive Pastor at Fellowship of Huntsville Church for ten years. During this time he also served as a Chaplain for Market Place Ministries and taught Apologetics and Bible History at Alpha Omega Christian Academy. In 2008, David took a position as Senior Pastor at Grace Community Bible Church in Richmond, TX. David and his wife have three sons—Trevor, Bradley, and Nathan.
