Wallace A. Jackson IV

Chaplain (Major) Wallace A. Jackson IV is currently the Sustainment Brigade Chaplain, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss TX. Chaplain Jackson is a native of Louisiana, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Louisiana College, Pineville, LA in 2003. In 2007, he graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) and received his direct commission as an Army Chaplain in 2008. He is also a graduate of Airborne School (2007), Ranger School (2013), the Chaplain Office Basic Course (2007), and the Chaplain Captain Career Course (2015). 

His previous assignments include: 88th Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Polk, LA; 10th Mountain Division, 2-30th Infantry Battalion, Fort Polk, LA (one combat tour to Afghanistan 2010-2011); 82nd Airborne Division, 1-325th Airborne Infantry Battalion Fort Bragg, NC; Airborne Ranger Training Brigade, Camp Merrill, Dahlonega, GA; 82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Brigade Combat Team (one combat tour to Iraq 2017); 1st Armored Division Sustainment Brigade (one combat tour to Afghanistan 2019-2020).   

Chaplain Jackson is currently married 19 years to Amanda Sue, who is a native of Pineville, LA.  They currently have six beautiful children: Taylor 16yrs; Wallace V 14yrs; Josiah 12yrs; Andrew 8yrs; Elisha 6yrs; and Grace 4yrs.
