The City Call

Dr. Brian Lam, senior pastor of Fort Bend Community Church in Houston, TX, encourages believers to consider the compassion for God on Nineveh and the extension of his grace to modern city centers.

Dr. Brian Lam was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduating from University of Houston in Computer Science, he felt the call to full-time ministry and attended Dallas Theological Seminary. He served at Houston Chinese Church for 15 years and planted Fort Bend Community Church (FBCC) in 1997. FBCC is a multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-generational ministry with the vision to grow communities of Christ-like disciples through spiritual formation, small group communities, Bible preaching and teaching. The congregation mainly comes from overseas. Pastor Brian is married to Lily for 38 years and they have two grown children. Lily was among the first group of women graduated from DTS in 1982.
