About the Contributors
As Lead Pastor of Christ Chapel Bible Church, Dr. Cody McQueen teaches and preaches the Bible to a growing church community in Fort Worth, Parker County and Johnson County, Texas. Originally from Troy, Texas, he attended Baylor University and later Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Theology and Doctorate of Ministry degrees. Dr. McQueen joined the staff of Christ Chapel in 2007. He began in the church’s Connect Ministry, building up Christ Chapel’s small groups and core value of community. He then became Life Stage 2 Pastor, creating a place for young adults in Fort Worth to gather together, share life and know God. Next he joined Christ Chapel’s teaching team, helping to impart the Monday-morning-relevance of the Bible to Christ Chapel’s four diverse campuses. Finally, Dr. McQueen helped pioneer Christ Chapel’s first multi-site as its campus pastor. He stepped into his current role of Lead Pastor in January 2019. Dr. McQueen and his wife, Jen, live in Parker County with their two boys, Dax and Hayes.
