Anita Carman
Anita Carman was born in the city of Hong Kong. At the age of 17, when she woke up to find her mother had taken her own life, she clung to God as her helper. After leaving her corporate career as a management consultant, Anita served at the College of Biblical Studies for five years as the V.P. of Special Programs and Special Assistant to the President. From the College, God led Anita to launch Inspire Women to empower women of all races to serve at their God-given potential. Today, Inspire Women is the largest non-profit funder of scholarships for women in Bible College and Seminary in the state of Texas. Anita received a medal from the Daughters of the American Revolution for being an immigrant who changed her community. Her mother’s last words before she died were, ‘O God, give my daughter the voice I never had.” Award winning movie producers recently completed writing the script on Anita’s life in a movie titled “A Daughter’s Voice.” The movie based on true life events includes Dr Mark Yarbrough the President of Dallas Theological Seminary and DTS women graduates including Jennie Allen who spoke at Inspire Women’s Conference. From America to Asia to the world, Anita is excited to tell the story of the redemptive power of God in her life.
