Anthony B. Badger

Dr. Tony Badger served in the Reconnaissance Platoon, 2/505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC from 1963 to 1966. He saw active combat duty in the Dominican Republic (Operation Power Pack, 1965) and was awarded the CIB (Combat Infantry Badge) at the end of that campaign. He later earned his Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B.) from LaSalle Ext. University Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible (BS.B.) minoring in Pastoral Studies at Lancaster Bible College. At Dallas Theological Seminary he was awarded the Master of Theology degree (Th.M.) majoring in Greek and New Testament Exegesis as well as the Doctor of Theology degree (Th.D.) with a major in Systematic Theology.
Dr. Badger has taught college and graduate level courses in New Testament, Old Testament, Systematic Theology, Greek Grammar, Advanced Greek Grammar and Exegesis, Expository Preaching, Philosophy, History of Philosophy, and Christian Apologetics at such institutions as Dallas Theological Seminary Lay Institute (Dallas, TX), Big Sky Bible College (Lewistown, MT), Cascade Bible Institute (Bellevue, WA), Washington Baptist Teachers College (Tacoma, WA), Lancaster Bible College (Lancaster, PA), Practical Bible College, (Johnson City, NY) at which institution he served as Professor and Chairman of the Bible and Theology Department. Dr. Badger has also taught Theology and online Bible courses as Associate Professor of Bible and Theology for Grace Evangelical School of Theology (Irving, TX) and as Adjunct Professor at Grace School of Theology (The Woodlands, TX). Presently he teaches Greek 101 and 102 at Grace Evangelical Society Seminary (https://faithalone.org/ges-seminary). He has pastored churches in New York, Texas, Washington, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
His published writings include articles and contributions to Union Gospel Press as well as research articles in the Journal of the Grace Evangelical Society, (http://www.faithalone.org). His books include Confronting Calvinism: A Free Grace Refutation and Biblical Resolution of Radical Reformed Theology (2013) as well as Free Grace Theology on Trial: A Refutation of “Historical Protestant” Soteriology (2017). He has also conducted seminars on various topics including Calvinism and led Bible and theological conferences in the island nation of Vanuatu under the auspices of the mission organization Friends in Action International.
