King-Tai Tie
Dr. Tie has served as a pastor in USA and Malaysia for 17 years before entering Methodist Theological School (Sibu) for 17 years as lecturer/Dean of Field Education and later as principal for more than 10 years. Courses that he has taught include Homiletics, Daniel, Revelation, Mark, Contemporary Theology, Apologetics, etc. Currently he is the President of Chinese Methodist Churches, Sarawak, Malaysia. He has taught DMin Homiletic practicum and been a DMin dissertation reader for over 15 years. His life mission is “to preach and to teach others to preach.” He and his wife Winnie, a Hong Kong born Chinese, have two daughters and one son.
