Dr. Bernard Fuller’s Message of Hope

DTS graduate Dr. Bernard Fuller serves as Senior Pastor of New Song Bible Fellowship Church in the Baltimore/Washington, DC, region. For decades, Baltimore has experienced great tension and conflict. However, Dr. Fuller’s church members are known as “Peace Ambassadors,” and they shine with confidence as they share the message of hope in Jesus Christ. The church is comprised of people from all ethnicities and economic stature. Together, they are driven to “grow God’s family, one household at a time.”

Dr. Bernard Fuller was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He began his quest for formal Biblical training at the Baltimore School of the Bible. In 1978, Bernard earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Washington Bible College. He went on to receive a Master of Arts in Christian Education and a Master of Theology degree in Pastoral/Urban Ministries at DTS. From Howard University School of Divinity he was awarded his Doctorate of Ministry in Religious Education. In 1988, Dr. Fuller assumed the position of Chairman of the Department of Urban Studies at the Washington Bible College. Dr. Fuller is Founder and currently serves as Senior Preacher of the New Song Bible Fellowship Church in Lanham, Maryland.
