Dr. Ed Condra Launches Biblical Linguistics Center in New Guinea

This video highlights the translation work that DTS grad Dr. Ed Condra has accomplished in Papua, New Guinea. Ed and his team have completed the translation of the New Testament which is now in the hands of the indigenous Patpatar people. In an effort to provide translations for neighboring dialects, Ed founded the New Ireland Translation Institute on a tiny island off the coast of New Guinea. Today you will find this center filled with 15 national translating teams converting God’s Word into their own languages.
