Joel Reemtsma
Doctor Joel Reemtsma received his PhD in 2018 from DTS, and he currently serves as Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministries. Prior to his faculty role at DTS, Dr. Reemtsma served as an associate pastor at his home church in Kenai, Alaska, to which he returns every summer for ministry. He also taught OT and Hebrew classes at Criswell College for several years. His research interests include OT wisdom literature in general and especially the book of Job.
Dr. Reemtsma is also currently the varsity soccer coach at St. Mark’s School of Texas. When he is not in the classroom, at his desk, or out on the soccer pitch, he usually heads for the wilderness!
