Rev. Jon Burns is currently the president of Greater Europe Mission, a discipleship movement dedicated to church planting, evangelism, and many other expressions of Christian outreach. Before accepting the presidency at GEM, Rev. Burns founded an organization out of his love for soccer called Lionsraw — an organization focused on global soccer for social change. Rev. Burns was honored with the CNN hero of the year award in 2014, and also awarded a British Empire Medal by the Queen of England; both for his work with Lionsraw. Originally from England, Rev.
