Rachel Nesse
While in seminary, Rachel has lived in four different states (Texas, Wisconsin, her state of origin, Iowa, and now Kansas). She currently serves in children’s and youth ministry at Christ Community Church, Kansas City, where she will complete a residency program after graduation. Her favorite Sunday school class to teach is the kindergarteners. Her best memories of DTS are the deep friendships she has made and meeting her husband Brooks to whom she’s been married now for three and half years. One of her favorite parts of preaching is storytelling. She also loves the process of getting to know and pray for her audience. In the long term, Rachel would love to have one foot in academic ministry and the other in vocational ministry in the church.
